About the Speaker

Earl L. Ishmal III, a dedicated professional with diverse experiences, transitioned from a rich educational background to the world of entrepreneurship. In December 2019, Earl took the helm as the Owner/Operator of Chick-fil-A Capitol Hill East in Washington, District of Columbia. His leadership at Chick-fil-A showcases his versatility and adaptability, proving his prowess in both the educational and business sectors.

Before his venture into the fast-food industry, Earl was deeply rooted in the educational realm. He served as the Principal of Blakeney Elementary in Waynesboro, GA, and held leadership roles at Burke County Public Schools. Recognized as an instructional leader, he also played a pivotal role at the Aiken County Board of Education, serving grades 9-12. His tenure at Wagener Salley High School further highlighted his commitment to shaping young minds.

Academically, Earl boasts a B.S. in Middle Grades Education from Paine College, an M.Ed in Leadership & Administration from Troy University, and an Ed. Specialist degree from South Carolina State University. Today, while his educational contributions remain commendable, it’s his entrepreneurial journey with Chick-fil-A that stands out, marking a new chapter in his illustrious career.
